We anchored in view of the Bay of Bengal last night. Before dawn we went for a nature walk near Katka. The leaves of the trees are trimmed up to the highest point the deer can reach standing on their hind legs. One of the guides climbed a tree and tore loose some leaved branches and we backed off to see the deer come eat the leaves. Later we would travel through this large delta river to Kochikhali where we would do other nature walks and boat rides. /susan
