The largest architectural dig in Bangladesh is currently at the Paraphur Monastery which was one of a network of academic Buddhist monasteries lasting for centuries before imposition of Islam in the area. We met Hannah and Gerhard traveling from Germany and would later share a train car with them to get around the violent transportation strike. /susan
