Susan's Story, Our Indochina Adventure
Our Mekong cruise on the MS Saigon Pandaw ended in the Mekong Delta so we drove to Saigon. Here we visited the Cu Chi tunnels, Independence Palace, the Water Puppet show, the Rex Hotel bar, parks, Notre Dame Cathedral, the post office designed by Gustave Eiffel, and modern shopping malls. This is a friendly modern city enjoying unexpected prosperity. We almost experienced the feared death by motor scooter.
