Susan's Story, Top of the World Adventure

After waking up to the view of the mountains & glaciers of the Magdalena Fjord at the top of Spitsbergen Island of the Svalbad Archipeligo of Norway what could the Captain of the Prinsendam do to inpress us? How about sailing north to the polar ice cap. It was the best weather to see this rare scene that the ship has ever encountered and the crew posed for a picture on the bow of the ship. We were very much more north at this junction than we were south when we visited the large Antarctic continent. What a memorial day!!! /hugh
