Parker Cross at the Whitewater Center, 4/15

We had not seen baby Parker Cross since he weighed less than 3 pounds and was in the Intensive Care Nursery at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in early January. His mom & dad, accomplished whitewater kayakers Kristie and Jay Cross from Columbia, had kept us posted with all the great news but we were anxious to see him again. Susan & I met the Cross's at the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte today for a reunion and for fun. Susan kept Parker and Kristie and Jay paddled kayaks with me until lightning closed the park. What a great day! Hurry and grow Parker so you can enjoy paddling the river with us!
