Anyone who loves the movie Braveheart should remembe Sterling Bridge was where the first major victory was won for Freedom. Since I noticed Trammells in your genealogy I'm assuming we're distant cousins. I'm of the Thomas Trammell line. Farr Harris Trammell and Virginia Stilwell of Chambers County, Ala. were my great grndparents. My grandfather, Judge A Trammell, moved to NC around 1900-03 . Charles S McCleskey, whose mother was a Trammell, wrote a Trammell Genealogy in 1973. I believe he was a retired college professor who researched it before the age of computers. He starts with Thomas Trammell,1747-1823, as he stated there was a lack of records due time, fires, and the "upleasantness with the North." Are you familiar with his book? Hugh, enjoyed your site very much. Loved the baby pictures as my girl friend's dad was a pediatrician. Keep up the good work.

Was searching the Middle Forks of the Salmon River and got to your site. I have also traveled to St. Petersburg. We went in 1990 before wall came down on a hot air balloon trip. Hi, Your site is great. We're thinking of staying at the Sand Dollar, Bonaire, in March at one of their one bedroom condos. There is a schematic on their site, but no pictures. I'd love to have some idea of what they are like, roominess, closet and drawer space, functionality of kitchen. We've stayed at some places with tiny bedrooms, no space for clothing and stoves that didn't work, actually just a few blocks from the Sand Dollar. I am looking for Ray and Kay Barrow, son of Daniel and Mildred Barrow, son of James and Janie Barrow. James and Janie lived in Tampa, FL and are deceased. Daniel also lived in Tampa and is deceased. Ray left Tampa after marriage to Kay and became a baptist minister. I was a pastor to this family.
