It is near the Carroll Co. gold field, Bonner’s Gold Mine. Land is in the Laurel Hill section between Roopville and Tyus on today’s Highway 5. She and 3 daughters joined the nearby Bethesda Baptist Church in 1860. ? “Lum” Worley married “Lizzie” Barnes in Lumpkin Co. in April, 1862. She must have remained in Dahlonaga?

He died of pneumonia soon after completing the trip and was buried out there. ?? He had purchased speculative land in Carroll Co. we understand sight unseen. We have read it was 600 acres while others say 220.
